Location: Waukee, IA | I almost always catch at least 2-3 big walleyes on Leech when I am fishing glide baits and jerk baits in late summer and fall. Makes me wonder if I shouldn't be throwing those specifically for walleyes at times! |

| Nearly every time I see a bass tournament going on Pewaukee Lake, I'll clip on double-tens and fish in plain sight of them, if I get a ski...fine, but there is always a great chance to snare a five-pound Largemouth in the shallows. Then I use a loud expletive, and say, "I am just so sick of catching these things!" I guess that makes me sort of an SOB....but the look on their face is (as they say in the Master Card commercials) PRICELESS! |

| I caught a 12" large mouth bass trolling a 5" scuba. It did not pull any drag, just floated on top. It swam off after I released it. It did all it could just to get the rear treble in its mouth.

| Lots of largemouth. Funny how you can catch a big LMB on a musky lure and be disappointed, but if you caught that same fish while trying for bass it would make your day... |

| There’s a captain on the gulf coast of Florida who buys my 10” Molly Bait blanks and paints them. He says the tuna love them and catches wahaoo, dolphin, grouper and sharks on them. I need to get down there!

Location: SE Wisconsin | Caught this smallie with a Depthraider. I had just cut the hooks out of a musky and the strong winds pushed us onto a shallow rocky flat while I changed out the hooks and Abe cleaned up the boat. I throught the bait over the side of the boat into the drink once I got the new hooks one, stood up and gave her a couple rips along the side of the boat to make sure the action was still there and from out of no where under the boat this smallie came up and crushed it! Crazy! Had Fittante work his magic for me..

Location: Lake "y" cause lake"x" got over fished | Caught Plenty of pike on 10s, and 13s ranging anywhere from hammer handle to 43"and fat. I caught a 24" largemouth last year on a topraider at night.
Hooked into and lost a loon 3 years ago (thank god)
Saw a buddy hook and lose a beaver last year. was a super low light period right when it was getting dark, he saw the shadow and brough him through a figure8 thinking it was a huge musky. It hit, we saw what it was and it was gone. I did not want to deal with a beaver AT ALL, Very happy it released itself |

| Last fall I "hit the cycle" with a DCG. Started off with LMB, then a 28 inch walleye haning out in between some cabbage and milfoil, a northern and finlly a musky. Made for the oddest 4 hours of fishing in recent memory.
Last sumemr I was out with Brad P on what was one of the buggiest nights i have ever been out on and we were trolling to keep the skeeters off and I popper a 25-27 inch walleye on a 10 inch jake...

Location: Iowa | 23" largemouth on a rabid squirrel bucktail. About 12 pound catfish trolling a large crankbait. 50 plus pound carb on a DDD, but that one was foul hooked. I was upset when I saw what it was. Put up a GREAT fight, and I just knew it was a huge muskie. What else would hit a DDD and fight so hard. Numerous other bass on different baits. I did watch Ty Sennett play with a large snapping turtle once. It was chasing his topwater around. They are faster than I thought they could be. |

| The most unusual two were a giant channel catfish on an 8" Jake and a very large carp on a 7" Believer. In both cases I was trolling and thought I was snagged when the fish first hit. I once had a gar come up to the surface and follow--but not strike--a Topraider. Of course I've had bonus walleye, largemouth bass, and not impressive smallmouth. I've also taken a few bonus pike. |

Location: Green Bay, WI | Fishing on Green Bay with my uncle one morning. He had never caught a musky "on purpose," so I took him out fishing. First fish--BIG musky on a perch-colored Jake. He lost it before we got to see the whole fish, but the tail was tremendous in size. So now, I'm up. Bang...off goes the rod. 10-pound cat hit that same Jake. Oi vey...
So now he's up again. 30 minutes later, rod goes off again: 54" fat girl, basically swims right to the boat and into the net.
Apparently I'm a great guide, but one of the unluckiest *anglers* out there.
TB
EDIT: Almost forgot... The tail on the 54" musky was not as large as the one my uncle lost an hour before that. No idea how big the fish was, but it put up a much harder fight than the one we caught.
