| I have a 8 foot heavy mojo musky with a revo toro winch 61 (not high speed) with 80 pound power pro. What would you be throwing with this combo?

Location: Sussex, NJ | The heavy might be too light for dbl10s but im not positive. It'll handle dbl8s but the problem with the winch is that you can't fish it with anything that needs a faster retrieve |

Location: Oconomowoc, WI | You can throw all sorts of stuff. It's a nice combo for throwing cowgirls and any other slow to moderate speed bucktails or straight retrieved top waters.
Since the winch is geared so low, it's great for slow rolling big blades, but you're really going to have to crank fast to keep up in other situations. It will be difficult to rip jerk baits or cranks.
The rod is a very nice rod. Some prefer longer, but it depends on your height and the deck height. You can throw small minnow baits or buck tails all the way up to mag dawgs. |

Location: sneaking out to get on the water ;-) | Creepers, it will throw some blades. Get the 5.4 gears to swap around in the winch and it will make it a much more versatile setup. Then if you need the power of the winch it's 15 min project and you can be back to the 4.6 gears. |

Location: Sycamore, IL | Slow rolled spinner baits and topwater baits spring to mind. I like the winch as it forces me to slow down. I just don't like it for baits where I have to pick up a lot of slack line... |
