Updated the electronics on the boat. Looking for the good sd card mapping. Had lowrance switched to humminbird. It's a 958 c hd di unit comes with contour XD. Which was pretty basic to me. Never had any experience with lake master only older navionics Any suggestions? Thanks

With a Humminbird unit, you're kind of limited to Lakemaster if you want to use all the features. Navionics, however, has a sweet deal going on with their "Freshest Data" program. Love my HDS' w/ Navionics.

Both mapping options are pretty good.. But when I had Lowrance I used Navionics because it had multiple states I fish on one card..
With the Humminbird I have now I got a Lakemaster so I can eventually link it to my trolling motor..
Since you have a humminbird I'd get the Lakemaster if there's any chance you'll want to link it to a terrova at some point..
Pretty sure the I-pilot link only works with Lakemaster.

Go to the companies websites and compare lake lists for the lakes in HD and in your area. Navionics has more HD lakes typically and they have some great features such as Freshest Data and Sonar Charts
