Location: Cohasset, MN | I tried Clear in April once a few years ago. Didn't (or couldn't) see a thing all day. The only surprising thing was the 3 inches of water clarity given the lakes name. Maybe I had a follow on every cast ? I'd never know. |

Location: Eagle Grove, Iowa | Not sure how many years ago jtroop was at clear lake but water clarity is no where near that bad on clear lake. With the weather we have had fishing will be tough with either choice.IF it was me this weekend though I would pick pleasant creek it is farther south so may be a little warmer and I have heard of a few fish caught there so far this year. ALthough it does get more fishing pressure by muskie anglers early in the year. Good luck were ever you choose. |

| Tough fishing for sure. But gotta get the dust off the Tuffy before the Wisconsin opener. Thanks for the opinion. Much appreciated |

| If you want to actually "run" your boat clear lake will be better - Pleasant Creek is 410 acres and NO wake. There are bigger fish in Clear, and a few nice ones in PC... either choice is open water for you to chuck |

Location: Plymouth IA | If you are going to Clear lake boat with caution the the water is low. Last fall it was about 4 feet down from the high water mark and even with a the rain it is only up 8 to 10 inches from last falls low. My old tuffy will be on Clear lake in 2 weeks and i was out there in the boat late fall. Just watch the shallow rocks. |

Location: Cohasset, MN | I think I was there in April of 2006. If it's better now I might give it another try. |
