My SLAVE DRIVER bosses made me work work work....all work and no play keeps Slamr from spending money he doesnt have!
Only looked around at bait booths for about 15 minutes, but saw a NICE array of customs colors the at Musky Innovations stop, and two boxes as big as coffins full of HAIR at the Voodoo Tails booth! The food SUCKS though...next year Ranger and other MuskieFIRSTers will be handling the concessions, we may get beat up on the cashola end of things, but the food will definitely be a whole lot better! No beer though boys, but my new apartment is 10 minutes from the show....but NO you can't go and drink there!!!!***Did spend some time talking to Adam Johnson, owner of Bayview Lodge (and Howie "HC" Meyer, who guides out of there) in Presque Isle, WI. Great guys, and had some INCREDIBLEY different ideas about deep deep deep deep deep fishing of clear water cisco based lakes with soft plastics. If you do go, talk to them.....guys VERY excited to talk muskies, and really wanting to cater their lodge around muskie fisherman!
Will take a FEW moments away from the bosses tomorrow to search for some goodies, will give reports to make you all drool!

Adam has his own web site,Skyviewlodge.com. Check it out sometime. He does a fishing report in the Presque Isle area. Nice place to stay and great food. I suggest the sweet&sour walleye on Friday nite. Adam and his brother have a pattern for muskies during the summer fishin no less than 25ft with BIG results. Ive been lucky enough to run across them guys on the lakes around there and they allways get nice fish. Probably the two nicest guys to talk to about musky fishing.

I'm stuck here in VA. and I AM DRAGGING...me boss around! Appears he started chewing my backside today at work, and w/ all the scar tissue I have from previous bitings, I didn't know he had his choppers stuck in me rump until I sat on his head at lunch! He begged me to go to the dentist to have himself removed, but I thought no...take him home... I'm sitting on him now as we speak! Wish i was there in he windy cold weather!

I'm stuck in Jamestown, Pa. with tons of work to do and watching it snow. Capt. Larry is getting a couple feet of it and is nice enough to try to share it us way down here. Wish someone would share some sunshine.

Divani,

What exactly is it like being "stuck" in Belgium if you're a muskie fisherman. Or are you in Belgium Wisconsin?

make that Europe and you know why I can't be at the show. Would love to go there some day. Over here all fishing events are boring, same ol' same ol' every year: same speakers, same crap, no food or lousy food, either too many people or too little companies, often no opportunity to buy their stuff at these events (just look), ... you get my drift. Steve,

I can't make it to the show today. Do you see anything different with the 2003 Esox Magnum they have there over a 2002? I can't wait until mine comes in and I see what it looks like.

Thanks[:sun:] [:(]

Same as 2002 only new style seats and new brand of trailers, which are much nicer in my opinion.
