| I was thinking of trying this rod out. Handles up to 2 oz lures and is fairly light. I would appreciate anyones thoughts. | |

| My dad had one. It's a great rod, he just does not care for that long of a rod. I have a 7'6" one and the 7'10" should be great for figure eights. You will be able to handle alot of lures with it too. | |
