Location: Sun Prairie, WI
headed down the Pleasnat creek this weekend and I am trying to locate some suckers. Any Idea who might have any. Called Gollons in Dodgeville but receptionist told me she thinks they don't have any available.

This is Iowa suckers are a rare find at best in the fall let alone in the spring...

I think you need to be a bait dealer and have the proper permits to transfer live fish across state lines.

Call Ricky Ridge taxidermy and sporting goods in Dodgeville Clint the owner provided suckers for the guys that went last year 608-935-2027

Confirmation - Bring live suckers from Wisco to Iowa is not legal.

I was told by WI DNR that if you buy it from a licensed bait dealer and you keep your reciept for proof you can transport across state line.

You might want to talk to your CO - You have to be a licensed bait dealer to transfer across state line. I was unsure .... our DNR says you cannot.

Yes
