Fishing reports from last nights meeting of the Lake Shelbyville Muskie Club were favorable. One member has a 34" to his credit already and a lost at the bank 48"!
The spillway at Shelbyville is hot! New state record caught not that many months ago (which will be on display at the IMTT booth this weekend)and near 50" fish already this year (only 8 days old)! AND YOU DON'T EVEN NEED A BOAT! All that's really needed is current. When the gates are open GO! To find out when go to;

Scroll to the bottom of the page under "Lake" then over to the column "controlled output" and you have the info to put you on quality fish
(Hint; watch for precipitation around Champaign and south, when it rains the spillway pours so to speak as the USACE is keeping lake at 594' winter pool)
