Has anyone ever swqitched from evinrude xd30 to xd 50? Any issues?

Location: Madtown, WI		Are you going to bring it in to reprogram it? You might as well, since you need less oil when running xd50. Most places will do it for free, I believe.

I switched from XD50 to XD100 without a reprogram, the only issue was it ran even better. If I understand the different oils, xd30 is basically regular 2 cycle oil and xd50 is a semi-synthetic blend.

We switched from regular oil to XD100 in our carbed motors and they just run smoother and smoke less.
