A friend at work was checking the TI website for a new rod and it is unclear to him if there are any 8' split grip XH still available.........he sent e-mails but got no response. I'm assuming that the e-mails didn't go through as that happens alot with our work computers???? Please help with any info, TI.

Thanks much,
Jaimy

Hi Jaimy,
Sorry, I did not see the emails. [email protected]

To answer your question, I sold out of those. Most of my retailers were asking for 7'6" or 8'6" rods so we moved the 8' line out and will be replacing with the other lines. I do have 7'6" rods but they all have full grip handles on them. I am just now starting to design the new 8'6" rods and all of those will come in MH, XH and XXH with 16" split or full grip options. Right now I will be making those only in the single piece (not telescopic) but I may add a line of telescopic rods in the 8'6" in 2014. Still trying to figure out my new warehouse setup. Went from 3600 sq ft to 14,000 sq ft of pole barns in my last day job move. I have room now to add new rod lines but its still a mess

any chance that you would make your handle lengths longer for your 8'6 rods maybe 17" or 18" like your 9'?

Love your rods

Most of my retailers wanted 14" or 15" but I pushed it to 16" in the specifications. The 16" handles are still pretty long and for most, the handle will still extend out behind your back or at least even.
