The other thread got me to thinking...
How many lakes have you fished for muskies?
I'm sure I've missed a few, but I came up with 28.

I kind of wish I'd kept track now...

I think I've been to 13 different bodies of water. Have caught fish on 10 or so.

Edit - 15 bodies of water

Tourny fishing for a few years helped hit a few I normally wouldn't have.

Over 50 all in Wi. except LOW. I have been fishing muskies for over 60 years and try a different lake or lakes every year. Also I usually target the smaller lakes. If its a muskie lake I probally fished it.

Clarifying question: do chains count as one body, or do individually named lakes on a chain count as separate?

Been at it 5 seasons and have fished 20 bodies of water. Got 3 new ones picked for this year and debating on a couple more.

Counted 76 different lakes I have fished for muskies in, I am sure I missed a few that were probably less than memorable.

Usually stick to the same 10-20 lakes through the course of a year, but the change of scenery is always fun.

This was a fun little question as I sat down and started listing the various lakes I fished in WI. It brought back lots of memories. Some lakes I wonder why I ever quit fishing, and some lakes I wonder why I even fished at all.

Anyway I was over 60 in WI.

Over the years we have fished most of the lakes in the North Country of Wi that are listed in the DNR database as muskie waters. many...many...many...

I get to fish both NW WI and NE WI so I'm in the 30-50 catagory.
