| Can anyone offer advice or resources on tying knots in heavy (130 lb.) flourocarbon? I'm playing around with tying my own leaders for the first time, and don't feel at all confident with the knots to attach swivel/snap.
Thanks |

| I use the nail-knotter tool, I ordered it from the musky shop and it gets the job done nicely. I believe it ties the same knot that stealth leaders use but I could be wrong

| Nail Knot is what Stealth, Smity, and Tug of War all use. The Du-Bro tool is the way to go especially with those higher test lines. You may fumble around a couple times but once you get used to it, tying the knot is pretty easy. There are a few tutorials around if you search You Tube. Pretty sure Du-Bro has one on their site too. |

Here's hoping that practice makes perfect.

| I'd assume cyanoacrylate or super glue. |

Same here but without the glue....it's just not necessary IMO but that's up to you. The keys are to lubricate the knot before tightening with LOTS of spit, and pull the knot tight SLOWLY with lots of pressure, including on the tag end (I use a pair of vice grips on the tag end). Easy knot, won't come lose. |
