This past Thursday I got to fish with my good friend Billy Brummet. The morning started off cold...breaking ice not only to get out, but breaking up ice so we could fish as well. Late in the afternoon, Billy hooked into what we were both looking for!! A gorgeous pre-spawn giant!!! Excellent work Billy!!!!

Thanks guys!! She was a giant for sure. She was caught on Tippy since all the "guest" want to know...lol. She was also caught on a swimbait that I have been known to use every now and then... ;-). Now I'm in Minnesota....so hopefully I can get back to another giant Monday!!!

Nice fish is an understatement Billy. You seem to always be the one who catches the fattest of the fat, no matter who's boat you are fishing from! Awesome catch dude. Maybe you will be the top guide out there one day! I can see that happening!

Cripes! What a hog! Q: What is the best way to break up ice to an area you want to fish with your boat....? Cut through the area and then send a large wake through???
