| Soft plastic swimbaits, gliders, and jerk baits.
Soft plastic swimbaits, I straite retrieve at med speed.
Gliders well i work them no different than summer/fall
Jerkbaits, work them the same as summer but slow down the speed.
I also dont use tiny lures, i use normal musky baits 6-10inch range
I have found when those fish turn on, they act like that water is 65.

| Make sure to keep an eye out for ice chunks flowing down stream... Not sure which river you're thinking about but I've seen a few sloating down the Mississippi that I wouldn't want to hit |

Location: New Jersey | I've had success with gliders in sub-40 degree water, mostly on Phantoms. |

Location: central Wisconsin | Just go walleye fishing with a jig and minnow. Plenty of spring muskies are caught like that. |
