Hi All - I just bought the Ram-D-111U mount for my new HDS-9 Gen 2 touch. This is the model that the Ram website said to use. I took out the mount that came with the Lowrance and tried to match it up with the plate on the Ram mount. There are a lot of holes in both plates, but they dont seem to line up very well. Does anyone know how many holes should line up for mounting the bracket to the mounting plate? I'd like to avoid having to drill new holes if possible.

When I mount mine, I made sure I had 4 bolts in it. Try spinning the bracket so the front is now the back, the hole may line up better.

Thanks for the response. I tried it both ways. I don't think I was able to get more than 3 holes to line up. My initial thought was that you wouldnt want any less than 4...

Either drill holes in the right place, or use the two or three bolts that line up with nylock nuts. It will be fine. Drilling holes is not going to hurt a thing.
