| It's cold here in W.Va. but we still have open water in the lakes and rivers.
Question : What glider is your 1st choice for clear , cold water?

| Myself, when the water gets real cold I will throw a 6" reef-hawg or the 5 1/2" Jerko.Smaller with long pauses is always a hot tactic! Handy |

|
| P.S- or a magic maker can shine too! |
|
| |
|
| RubberHairy glider with long pauses or really short twitches with lots of them so it shimmys in place.:) |

| Dead-Head |

| My favorite cold water glider is the "BOSS", a soft clammy clown looking oddity...as the water warms, untie his hands from behind his back for more flailing top water action......[:0] |

|
| Purple Jerko, or Phantom |
|

| Used a couple of Divani's gliders this Fall. Boy are you guys missing out on one great bait. This is my choice for a cold brrrrr water glider. You best be gettin' you some.
These are going to be famous lures before too long. Heheheheheh...sounds like a commercial don't it.
How's that Dirk? |

|
| I did well with an amma bamma and a wyde glide when the water got cold last fall. Also had action on the widowmaker 10" cigar glider and the deadhead. |

|
| Yes, the TripleD is a crankbait... but it is truly a "Jerkbait in Disguise". I fish the lure more like a glide bait than a crank. It will turn and glide just like some of your favorite glide baits. It is great for cold water situations because it is neutrally bouyant and you can crank it down deeper than most glide baits can reach.

| Depending on conditions.
Undertaker
Phantom
Gotta sneak'n hunch the Rubberhairy glider will also be added to this list if the production models perform like the prototype I saw in New London.
Triple D's will also be on the list....
Gonna need another tackle box....[;)]

| mike, sure does sound like one! [] [] I used a tekneek and a zig zag glider I made, both 5.5" long and suspending, with a lot of success when it got colder but I haven't been able to go fishing a lot this fall. Probably in a month time of so, I'll have time again. Other than that ... 7" suicks |

|
| The Blitzen Shad has been my go to gluide bait in cold water conditions for the last spring and fall, has caught many. But so has the 8" Lindy Tiger Tube!

| The small "Striker"!!!
Tough to find, but worth it's weight in gold when the waters below 50. |
|

|
| I can't beleive no one has mentioned the Magic Maker!! Between that and a Jerko/Squirko, you can't go wrong!
