I'm going to be working in the White Plains, NY area for a couple of years. Looks like there are several Muskie lakes in northen New Jersey. I'd like to get in some fishing while here but unfortunately my boat will be back home in Indiana. Can anyone recommend a good Muskie guide in this area? The lakes I'm interested in are Greenwood, Monksville, Hopatcong, etc.

Larry I don't guide or have a very big boat, but I'd be happy to take you fishing. We also have a great chapter of Muskies Inc. in Northern, NJ. Last year was my first year as a member and I met some great guys that I did a lot of fishing with. There are about 6 places in northern NJ within and hour to an hour and a half of White Plains that have healthy musky populations

Thanks for the info. I'm in the Kinkaid Lake MI chapter (#28) but I have registered for the Chapter 50 message board and have been checking in on that from time to time.

Chapter 50 is a Penn/Jersey Chapter and their meetings may be a bit of hike from White Plains. I am a member of Chapter 22.
