Just looking for a little help. My family has decided to rent a cabin on Lost Land Lake by Hayward this year. We are going in mid-August, so most of the summer patterns will hopefully be working. I know that the lake has darker water and that it attached to Teal Lake. I know that both of these are part of the "quiet lakes". We have never fished the lake or the area, so any help will be appreciated.

The wife and I have spent the last 7-8 years camping/cabinning around Lost Land. Have fallen in love with these lakes and hope to retire there in about 10 years. By that time of summer, weed presence will be extremely thick on Lost Land. Have had most of my luck on points early/late in the day. Gotta admit, though, I've become more attached to Teal. Love to fish the islands. Rocky points good too. Got a 45" on a Suick last fall. My pb smallie there too! Best of luck to ya!!
