Location: Lake "y" cause lake"x" got over fished | I have been seeing more and more of these lately. I just have a few questions. I am curious about their production for those of you that throw them. I know their heads are a little wider than regular bulldawgs and wondered if for that reason you use it for situations where "profile" is the key? How do they hold up? production? Hang time? pros & cons?
I would like to pick up 1 or 3, but need some info before I pull the trigger |

Location: Maryland | I have a few of the cork ones and they are an awesome shalllow water bait. They hang real well in the strike zone. |

Location: SE, WI. | I love the cork model. They are great in the shallow rocks, or over weeds. they fall about 1ft per 3/4 seconds. great hang time and yes a nice big profile. I've caught up to 5 fish on a bait, and as little as 2, but maker has a new internal harness that may hold up better as the new models come out. IMO, I'd rather use this type of lure than any dive and rise bait. The maker will do any color pattern you want. Cork or lead model. I'll try to get him to post on this thread, so you can get some contact info...Thanks There are some clips on youtube of several fish I boated on these hellkats. go to hellkat shock baits |

Location: SE, WI. | I don't think Mark does any shows. He has an art studio in tomahawk WI., uses the rod umlauf studio. Also,Frank Walsh has them at baystore camp on the woods, and Smokeys bait also handles them. If you need help getting baits, let me know by PM. JD |
