What is everyone using? I am using a 9' heavy right now, but wondering if a softer tip would be better? Anyone have any experience with something like that?

I use a big nasty and migizi XH for my big twitch baits...the migizi has a slightly softer tip than other XH blanks so its perfect for it

I am using a XH Predator or a Big Nasty for tritching/ripping big cranks. The Pred wore a 700 TE last year and the Big Nasty a Lucanus....Both awesome options...

i usually use my big dawg , but have started using my sling blade more and more with j-10's. i would say in the cabbage i like the big dawg a little better for a little quicker snap.

Check out our 8'6" Extra Heavy or our 8"10" Heavy Elite Musky Series. Either one of these rods will do the job very nicely and you are getting the quality and durability of a 350.00 rod for $80.00 bucks less. I only sell online and at shows or if you call direst. www.customxlures.com and check out the rods section.
