How much longer is the LJV handle compared to the stock Tranx handle? I was set on a Tranx PG for blades and rubber, but I learned you can put a LJV handle on an HG. Would the longer handle just about balance the effort out between the PG and the HG with the LJV handle?

The pg will still be easier but the ljv handle on the hg trims the gap while still allowing you to get 43" per crank to the 30" of the pg. I sold my trinidad tn16 because the hg/ljv was easier to use.

I think there's more versitility with the HG.
For more power (with the speed) Put a LJV handle on the HG and you also can adjust how much line you put on the reel, for more -or less line pick up/power. Less line on spool would be a little easier to reel also.
also..... the LJV handle has 2 mounting holes, maybe about 1/4" and 1/2 inch longer than the tranx stock handle.
