If you want to learn it...I will do my level best to help you guys out in the off season.
So what is top on your list of things you want to learn?

| Locating and casting to suspendos. |

| Mr Wild hit a good nail on the head. Would also like to know more about topwaters. In what conditions do you throw a globe vs a topraider type thing. Has to be a meathod to the maddness. |

| In '01 I learnt how to fish the bottom of the water effectively and that plenty of good pike are often hard on the bottom.
In '02 I learnt that you can often fish underneath the fish[:blackeye:]
Hopefully in '03 I learn to try to fish all the water column until I find a pattern! |

| I'd like to learn more on trolling and locating suspended fish. Also tactics for extremely pressured lakes. |

| I can't say there is really any ONE thing I want to focus on learning, but I do know that the major mistake I made last year was NOT trying to do MORE different things or trying to nail down different patterns while on the water. I stuck with the same one or two manners of fishing for 90% of the time after good early season success with it, basically sticking with it LONG after the pattern had died off.
I tried a few things different, and they worked (speed trolling and fishing weedlines inside out) but I didnt stick with them long enough. So basically, I just want to try to soak up as many new ideas as possible and try to apply them more.

*and thanks Jason, ever since trolling up Russian Hybrid Spotted Muskies with downriggers, I have been JONESING to get myself a pair! |

| I agree with the suspendo learning but am also interested in more of the structure basics presentations that are archived. Since I intend on fishing new lakes next year I would like to learn about reading the water and locating fish. How do those high pressured areas get picked? What is it about those spots you have to wait in line to cast into? |

| Become a better and more diversified troller. Better at shallow water over weeds and beter at getting baits deeper when the fish are there.
Learn to work more baits more effectively casting.
Knowing better when to make a change when what you are doing is not working. |

| I would like to learn how to act clueless, so that I could
utilize beginner's luck as so many people seem to do right before they land their first 48"+ on their first time fishing!![;)] [] |

| I learned a lot last year and still believe that if you don't learn something new on every trip, you haven't fished hard enough. I plan on experimenting with planer boards, Dipsey Divers, and trolling speeds next year and I would like to hear about new, innovative, and unconventional techniques. I realize that fishermen tend to keep these things to themselves, but I am hoping that some will share.
Keep your hooks sharp (and your mind sharper). |
