| For those who attended the MuskieFIRST outing last year you remember the food, the drink, the fun, but hopefully not the weather. I am heading back to the fundraising tournament for the Heartland Chapter and have secured lodging ON THE LAKE this year. I worked out a special rate for $16.00 per person per night if we put 4 in a room. Also can do double occupany for $32.00 per. I need to get 4+ rooms rented for this rate so those who are interested in heading down to the crystal waters of Clear Lake and helping out raise funds for the Heartland Chapter please contact me at [email protected]
The tournament was only $30.00 last year and included a few meals and liquids! Worth every penny! |

| I WISH I could go, but it doesn't look too good with the kid due right around there. I told my wife it was only 2 hours away and that she'd probably be in labor for at least 10hrs. Needless to say, that went over like a fart in church [:knockout:] . I doubt I'll be able to defend my title, but I'm sure going to try.

| I am not going to make Cave Run...considering this was a very fun event last spring (in lieu of the weather) I will talk to Deb and more than likely will come again this year.

Their Muskies Inc. chapter put on a great spread of food and prizes for the event. The lake is fun to fish and boats of all sizes will do ok there....Cabela's is 35 miles up the road and Berkly headquarters and outlet store is a little over an hour away... These make for some nice side trips.
Hopefully the weatherman will be a bit more cooperative this year...[;)] |
