It's an awesome rod. I use mine for blades up to dbl 8's, top waters, and smaller plastics. I also have the top n tail and if you fish alone much I prefer the top n tail. Both are awesome but I think it's easier to net alone with the top n tail. You can use them for regular dawgs but wouldn't go much heavier than that.

Shumway flashers, smaller bucktails and topwaters. Nice rod, very light and casts smaller lures very well. Definitely too light for 10's...

Yes. It's a great cranking rod and it has replaced where I would have used a flippin stick, smaller spinnerbaits, 6" cranks, jigs, etc. It isn't a "do anything" rod like a slingblade or BN but certainly a cool tool.

Thanks guys, you answered how i would have expected. Seems a little redundant to the Top n tail (which I have and primarily use for topwater, smaller blades, etc.) except may be good for a bit more distance. I just want one because i don't have one:)

If you like the TNT you would like it for sure, it may be user preference but they don't fish/feel the same at all. IMO there's another level of power in the LR vs the TNT. If we're ever on the water at the same time you can fish with it for a while to see how it compares to your TNT.

I fish mine with a 61 Winch and cast small cranks, spinnerbaits and as big as double 10's. Yes that's right I am casting double 10's and don't seem to feel or have a problem doing so.

I agree it's deffinetly not the same feel as the top n tail they each have there differences. Stop at one of the shows or local store and check one out. I enjoy having both and what they can't do big nasty can!
