If I wasn't shown how well a dive and rise could produce I probably would've never given one a chance.... I am new to Muskies but it just didn't look like my style but it has worked very well for me. I use the 9" weighted version, I have a few 6" I got that I am going to use for tigers this spring. |

Dive and rise baits produce some serious action here in Ut for sure... almost more so than most other baits! |

| I really love a nice 9" weighed Suick. If the Suick is out, I also really like a weighed Burt. They have such great hang time and a great shimmy. The squirrelly Burt is good around veggies too. |

Location: Minnesota: where it's tough to be a sportsfan! | Just read through this not many mentioned the burt. This is a lure you can put in someones hand show them a retrieve and walk away. They will p _ _ _ something off with it for sure. I always have a burt or two on board.
My favorite though is a twitchbait worked like a dive & rise. Once dialed in on the bait you can make that thing do anything short of jumping jacks. |

| i know this is isn't a jerk bait, but i use alot of crankbaits like a jerk bait. Love the action in that it wobbles then rises. Things like grandma's, kraves etc... |

| Livid Fish does everything your dive/rise bait does, but with a significant wobble on the way up. |

| My obvious favorite is the MDR Chopper. Tooth proof solid plastic, two line ties for versatility, a diving action that will back out of cover and then wobble on the rise. The chopping action is side to side with wiggle. The two hook design hooks great and is easy on the fish (and angler).

| Ez-E riser.....for me.....gets down to 7 feet with a slow death rise & wobble. |
