Been watching this board for a while but never posted, but here I am.
First question:
How are Slammer minnowbaits, Slammer Topwaters and whoever this Slamr person is related?

Slammer crankbaits and slammer topwater are not only not the same they are in different states. And Slamr, well he is in a different state too.[;)]

No one is related to that Slam'r person. At least no one admits it. LOL As for the other Slammers, both great lures and lure companies but not related in any way that I know of.

I can tell you that the Slammer minnow baits are tops in my box, I have been using Bills lures since he started making them and never had one fail due to construction. Awsome paint jobs and color selections, he is sure to have what your looking for. He also has a great line of deep divers for cranking or trolling. Check out his web site, you can't go wrong. As for the topwater baits, I have not used them much, and I don't have enough time to explain the other Slamr. [;)]

You all know Bill Schwartz from Slammer crank baits at www.slammertackle.com. A few years ago Bill sold his topwater bait company because he found that he was running out of seconds in the day to eat and sleep.
The topwater company is now owned by Scott Persons, e-mail [email protected], and telephone number 218-647-8227. Scott is doing a great job with increasing the quality and variety of his baits.
And Slamr....who knows the history behind him other than he probably, like the rest of us, uses the baits from both companies! LOL!![;)] [:)] []

Well said Mike and Steve,

Couldn't help myself on the dig on my bud Slamr!!!!!!![;)]

As far as the baits go Bill Schwartz puts out a top notch crank bait, my personal best this year came while twitching a deep diving Slammer on a weed edge, can't beat them for trolling either. TOUGH AS NAILS!!!!!!![:sun:]

So much for the image make-over, I see that I am not doing too well on re-creating myself as a normal human being. Guess its time to go back to being myself.

Slamr, don't give up so quickly. Just look at how long you worked on your image before you decided to come over to "our side". Oops, I guess that in itself may be enough for you to turn back to the Slamr of old.
