Boat Problem

I have a serious problem and need some advice/help. For the first time my boat is being stored at a location that I can't check in on it. My buddy who is storing the boat refuses to go out each evening and give it a hug and ask her if she is doing ok - not much of a friend I guess.

What should I do? I know she (the boat) is lonely.
Who will clean the snow off her?

You think YOU have it bad! Mine is currently residing about 30 minutes west of Dekalb Illinois (free covered storage)!!!! I wont see her until spring and to make matters worse, i will have little chance to ride her this summer due to twin boys being due sometime around late April!

You guys just need a bigger garage!!! I say hi to my boat every morning and night, I listen tp her radio everytime I am working in the garage. Its nice to walk out the kitchen door and their she is, I have to walk by her everytime I come and go. She treats me extra special when on the water just like I treat her when she is in the garage. She is a little over 23foot long while on the trailer and with the removable tounge I have at least 2 inches to spare to make her fit. Garages are made for toys not cars and trucks!!![:p] [:p] [:p] [:p]

I've been lucky because I have sized and designed my garage specifically for my Tuffy Esox Magnum. Come late January or early February, I can get up behind its console and the hands and nerves settle right down, solid as a rock![;)] []

Mine is currently getting her nails done, a little lift & tuck here and there, and a paint facial courtesy of the micro-burst that roared through Arbor Vitae last year. She is a mere child, at three years of age, but with continued love and affection and the occasional gallon of oil to quench her thirst, I hope to have a long and caring relationship!

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL!

I officially hate Mike Koepp now. How dare you tease us with your "i get to see her everyday!". Some of us are not that fortunate and you have the nerve to toss it in our face!!! While my darlin is about 60 miles west of me you are sitting in yours when ever you feel like it!? [:p]

My Baby is only 1/4 mile away snuggeled gently in my Mom's heated Garage, The on board charger makes sure that her batteries are always up to full charge, I visit her every other day (My boat Also).

IS IT SPRING YET

Dave, did you put a picture of yourself on the tongue of the trailer? How about one of those infant radios you can listen in and make sure it's ok? Did you put a mobile hanging from the ceiling above it? What kind of boat owner are you? Probably a mouse hotel by now.[:0] [;)]

Todd:
I had the guy fill the garage with the soft sounds of pillow talk music to keep her soothed. As for the mouse hotel......i wont be able to sleep now thanks!!!! Actually, i tried a the bounce thing couple of years ago and it seemed to work and i had a fresh smelling boat in the spring. Probably luck.

I got mine back from the dealer last week, and it is now next to the garage, all covered up, charger plugged in, and all snuggled in til the spring eye runs start. I can see her everyday, and to keep her in the mood, I have the sound track from all the great ski segments of John Gillespie playing continuously. "Pete! Pete! Big fish! Pete! Big fish! Pete!Big fish! Pete! What do I do?!!Big fish! Pete!"[]

Near 50 degree's today, washed and waxed the Tuffy. Cleaned out the storage bins, vaccumed and organized...she's a looker! and ready to roll.

My son came home and I was sitting behind the wheel cleaning the console...he gave me "the Look", you know, the same one I get from the wife every now and then..."Are you freaking nuts?"

Yep, I am...only 4 months and change to go!
