| So...it's not in the cards for me to have a lake place. What I'd like to find, then, is a little getaway I can get to, to do some musky fishing on the weekends. I'm looking for a campground in Wisconsin that offers permanent campsites with access to decent musky water. My plan is to buy an older camper I can fix up and leave at the site (along with my boat) so I can run up on the weekend to do a little fishing. I know there are a few such places in the Hayward area, but I'm hoping to find something on the northeast side of the state. Any thoughts?
Thanks.

| I think that Buckatabon Lodge on Lower Buckatabon Lake has campsights that you are looking for. Lower Buckatabon is attached to Upper and make up about 980 acres of Class A musky fishing.
Those lakes are located in Conover and are in close proximity to other great lakes like the Cisco Chain, North Twin, LVD, Eagle River Chain, Star Lake, etc.
