I went with the intention of not spending any money. I had enough in travel (1600 miles round trip), my booth, hotel, and food that I was determined not to spend any more than I had to. However, when I saw the quality of MRichardson's baits, I knew I had to get one. I had my heart set on one of his new crankbaits, but I ended up pulling the trigger on one of his bulletproof topwaters.

The World Championship of Lure Building had amazing entries. I was fortunate enough to put winning bids down on two: Mikko's (Solarfall) shad and Ed Kott's 10" perch glider.

I was VERY impressed by the whole show. Doug Reuter did an excellent job of getting the best vendors and speakers in the industry. It was well organized and well attended by the public. I had a great time getting to know other vendors and talking to the fishermen (and women) that attended.

I'm looking forward to next year!

I won a $25 gift card and hauled an 8'6" Custom X musky rod back to MN.

I bought a 16 inch Big Game tackle (top) at the show, and then at the swap meet I got....

2 -15 inch Talonz Claws (pictured in walleye).

3- 14 inch Jakes

1- 13 inch grandma

1-16 inch slammer

1-13 inch slammer

1-13 inch believer

All of the ones not pictured are currently being repainted by Tyler Wolf (wolftackle84) in cisco, whitefish, or lake trout patterns, so I can't post the pics until I get the baits back.

Overall I was happy to find big crankbaits for reasonable prices or trades. Really happy that I went to the swap.
