| Ok- I've expanded my Muskie fishing horizon's to a new venture, "Director of Market Development" for Zalt North American Distribution. You will see ad's going up on both MF & WF as soon as Zach recovers enough from his surgery. So this is not really a free ad! Jason & all the folks at MF contend that MF is the most powerful Muskie fishing information tool available to anyone with a computer and an Internet connection. Well let's test the theory!
I've already surveyed the Zalt NAD Muskie Prostaff. But, I thought it would be great to see what all you folks think about lure colors.
Here's the deal. We're working on a new Zalt Muskie lure (25cm/~9.85" long), I've been told that I'm going to be limited to six colors for the initial release of this new lure in 2003.
I need your help selecting the colors!! In turn all that respond to this survey message will have their names put into a drawing for 2 (19cm/7.5") Zalt's - Plus a 6-pack of the new 25cm lures when they release in 2003(~$200 value). You have until Dec 31st@Midnight to respond to this color survey. I will have my 7 year old granddaughter draw the winner on New Years Day @ 12:00 Noon and post the results here.

FSF- The colors really don't come through on the website pic's because of the reduced file size, i.e, compromise to keep loading time down. Stop by Smokies Muskie Shop booth in Chicago and check them out live. I do know that both Pike & Muskies will eat the 06-Parrot w/ yellow belly. But they'd probably also work great for imitating/catching a Mackerel or any other fish w/teeth.

| Thanks to all who responded.[:sun:] It was great to get your input. I wish more of the board members & non board members had posted. I'm sorry the only Anon who replied was disqualified because he/she didn't post a name. [:((] This was a very good chance to win over $200 in Zalt lures without any $$ investment.
Now a brief discription of the drawing process so you know this was as fair as possible. My 7 year old granddaughter didn't make it over this morning, so I went to plan B.[:0]
PLAN B:
1. Print out entire thread
2. Cut out & wad up each eligible reply into tight paper ball
3. Place all the paper balls in my MuskieFirst hat & mix well
4. Take hat upstairs to kitchen & place on floor
5. Call our cat "Duffy".
6. When Duffy arrives dump contents of hat on kitchen floor.
7. The winner is the first paper ball that Duffy actually starts to play with, sniffing doesn't count.
He sniffed about 10 before he finally picked the winner-> "Southshore"
The winner selection was witnessed by my wife (Doreen- who was laughing at me the whole time).

I will send out the 2 19cm/7.5" Zalt's this weekend and the 6 new 25cm/~10" Zalts will ship when we get our first shipment of those. Hopefully before June. You are going to love throwing these lures, they have virtually no drag compared to a Jake or other lipped crank bait. They are also great twitched/jerked. Have fun! [:bigsmile:]
