I had the opportunity to meet Chuck with Custom X Lures and Rods at the show in Milwaukee. What a great guy! Got a great deal on a 8/6' extra heavy rod. He went out of his way to talk with me and get to know what I was planning on using the rod for. As a person that is relatively new to musky fishing, that was extremely helpful. My brother, who has a few St. Croix rods, was jealous of the rod and deal that I was able to get. I just can't believe that a rod that light and strong is available at such a budget friendly price. My brother and I also got a handful of great lures (I bought a couple 6 inch chubby x lures). Can't wait to try it all out!

Good guy for sure. I caught a nice 41.5" on one of his baits last season. Also picked up one of his trolling rods.
