| A wise man once commented to me: "I'm at 3,800 posts, I have no life!"...well this same wise man (wise to some, short of stature to all but his wife) is now on the virge of hitting 4,000 Posts. Many ideas have come to mind on how to celebrate this...maybe help the poor man find a new hobby, crochete and marcromea have come to mind, but with his little hands, I think that oragami is probably the ticket. Any other ideas?
I have thought of one thing to help him out, to ease his pain and suffering that he will most certainly soon be seeing from Carpal Tunnel syndrome (and trust me, the OutdoorsFIRST health insurance package isnt as good as you may think) everyone TRY to think of a thought provoking, but NON-argument provoking (!!!!) thread...how does this sound? Luke, I know you think this is gay, but then again, you think everything is.

| I see........Nothing...no bells, whistles or bluelight specials. Of course its 8:15pm and Mrs. Smith is yelling at me, "Will you come to bed".......I guess that counts!!![] []
MF has such great people its so hard not to sit down and try to help everyone I can. A thread should never go without an answer. Well, unless it needs to be deleted, which is something I dont have to do much thanks to the courteous members. I have been posting here since July 1st 2001 when we started and enjoyed every minute.
I guess tommarrow will be another day...and 4001,2 and
3.[;)] [:p]
Thanks Slamr for your...interesting...yet thought prevoking comment![:)]

| Don't fall for that oldest trick in the book! Jason only has 37 posts, but seeing that he is one of those high "muckety muck" moderators, he makes up his own number of posts after his name!![;)]
And you thought nobody was paying attention!...
| | |
| So, lets look at this for what it's worth:
If, lets say, it takes Mr. Smith 30 seconds to read each thread, and another 30 to post his input, then a ballpark figure would indicate that Jason has roughly 66.6 hours invested so far. Of course, this is mere speculation, since he probably only posts on only half of the threads he reads, meaning a more accurate figure would be somewhere around 135 hours invested in his lofty achievement. That's nearly a full week of nonstop moderating.
You should go to bed Jason, you need the rest.

| Don't just commend Jason on having 4000 posts, commend him on the fact he did it in less than a year and a half and did not get carple tunnel.[;)] | |
| | |
| Stop it with the carpel turnel jokes, as someone who just got diagnosed 2 minutes ago it's not funny.
Now I am furtunate enough to have it on both wrist and schedueling the operations will be weather or not I can squeeze both in this winter. It will depend on time of recovery as well as how long this damn medical system is going to make me wait. I hope I can get at leats one in during the off season as there is no way I am missing any of our short 6 month season.
I wonder if I get both done at once my wife will take the time off the wait on me hand and foot. [:((]

| Hey Rich,
I don't think it's a good idea to get them both done at the same time...........how you gonna take care of the little guy!!!!!!!![:0]
| | |
| All that time and ya still can't type. I hope someone put a typing lesson in your stocking. In reality though, once I look past all those typos I know I learned something and always look forward to the posts. | |
| | |
| All those posts here! What do you suppose runs through that grey matter when he's pounding the water? Nice to know someone is taking care of all of us. Thanks Jason[] | |
