Dual Console Owners

I would like some input from some owners of dual console boats. I've been looking at a few models with dual consoles because I'm not finding many single consoles in my first 2 choices. I wonder about the lack of floorspace and where I will put my rods while runnin'.I'm currently looking at 620's and 619's because there is a serious lack of 690's out there. Why spend 23k on a 99 690 when I could get a loaded 00 619 for the same price?Any input would be greatly appreciated.I really want to find a 690 or single console 619,but if I'm spending my hard (and I do mean hard)earned cash, I want to get the most for the dollars. I welcome all opinions. Thanks. Steve

Steve the benefits are much greater then the little lost of space in a 19 or 20 foot boat. The extra console only takes a couple of square feet but you can use the underneat for extra storage or the extra large glove box if it has one. [:praise:]

One thing to consider, get the full glass windshield. A friend of mine has the 619 dual and the windshield does NOTHING to stop the wind unless you tuck you head between your knees. As far as storage, and where to put rods, either will be just find. Plenty of room up front in either of the boats and a lot of room in the rod locker.

Steve, Treats nailed it. Get the full windshield deal!

I have a single console and my windshield does nothing. I will go to a dual console on my next rig and I will get the full windshield!
