| Anyone been to Costa Rica, I would like to go for a vacation and try some deep sea or tarpon fishing. Any links or recommend locations? Good, bad, or ugly info?

| Yes, its a beautiful country. 1) what do you really want to catch? The best "deep sea" fishing will be on the Pacific side...Tarpon are on the Caribbean side. 2) what is your budget? Is this more about a vacation with a day or two of fishing or are you looking for a fishing destination to fish every day? You get what you pay for down there to chase sailfish/marlin....and they best area(s) are hours from the airport, not near the common "resort area's" | |
