The St Luis River event is considered boarder waters,.. so I think either a Mn.or Wi. license would be OK. You better check their rules though.

Last I checked I couldn't find their website anymore. Sounds like the tourney info is now going to be spread by local musky bait retailers. It is usually the first saturday after musky opener. |

You don't need both to fish the st louis but they have a law in place if your a mn or wi resident you need your state license. If your from any other state you can fish with either mn or wi non resident license. Trying to keep the locals from saving a dollar and the state losing one.

I believe that you are correct. However, I've wondered how one could save a dollar or two by purchasing an annual non resident vs their own resident license in either? |
