Location: Des Moines IA | I've fished out of Slamr's quite a bit. Console version with a 150 opti and a 9.9 will do very close to 50 mph. And it fishes three people very nicely. Fits in most garages, easier to tow than the bigger boats, and is very affordable. When I wear out my 1700, the 1760 will probably be my next ride. |

Location: MN | I've fished out of my buddy's 1760 GC tiller; awesome boat. Tons of room, smooth ride, and smart layout. If I were to purchase another 17ft tiller this is the boat I would get.

Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | The hull and interior are identical in the dual, single, and tiller model. I ran a single console, and really liked it. I then ran a dual for a few months, and really didn't see any issues with the second console.
I believe you were sent an image of Slamr's ride, a single console 1760 Esox Deep V.

| Just finished 3rd season with a 2004 1760 Osprey single console...with a 150 opti...9.9 kicker for trolling...
Lets just say I no longer covet another boat I see.
Really good ride, fast, great layout, handles amazing, front casting deck is big enough--not as wide as a Crestliner fishhawk..
But most would agree for a 17.5 foot boat---You get a lot of boat...deep hull--heavy boat--just crushes the waves. I like some free board---this boat has it...
Like like it tons better than any bass boat I have ever fished out of...Better layout than the Ranger 690s, 617, 619, IMHO.. Got mine with a motor under 100 hours for many thousands less than a 617, or 619..
O and not that it matters---I guess it does matter----In the water and on the trailer---best looking boats out there--mine is the black metal flake---Shines and sparkles in the sun---brilliant!!

Location: Madison, WI | I have a 07 1760 GC and LOVE IT! It fishes way bigger than 17 1/2 feet and handles rough water better than any aluminum boat in that class! The rear deck extension is huge and you will not regret getting it. It is a great place to store bump boards, plano boxes, rod holders, etc. The front deck is plenty big for 2 guys to cast. If you have the choice i suggest a 150 on that boat, mine has a 115 and it pushes it great but the out of the hole shot is a little slow. Agree with the above post as well, they are beautiful in the sun on the water! |

what year was the last year with wood in the 1760 was it 2005?
I would think it should fit in a 22' garage with a swing tounge trailer |

Location: Northwest Wi. | I also have 1760 GC with a 140 Suzi and no kicker, Not needed with the Suzi it will troll down to 2 MPH smoothly. Top end about 43 MPH. Shoots out of the hole like a rocket! No matter what the motor I love the boat. If I were a guide I would go a little bigger but I am not, normally just myself on one other. Going on season six with no complaints..Also easy to trailer and put in on the smaller lake accesses. |
