anyone else fish so much they got snapped on the lake by Google Maps?

I remember day because of the flotilla of yakkers uplake. good thing I wasn't "running the bilge pump" when the satellite went overhead. that bird's eye view is a doozy.

Now THAT is an accomplishment! I've missed by a few days. The best I came up with was me driving to work one morning, and a clear shot of my car in the parking lot at my old job. But actually fishing? There should be an award for that!

They updated photos of northwest Wisconsin where our cabin is. I can see that I left the net in the boat the previous night - it's there as plain as day. You have to wonder if a Frabill Kahuna is too big if it can be seen from space...

I have noticed that when the Google satellite images in my area were taken my boat wasn't at the dock. So I've been searching for myself out fishing ever since.

Hunter - it is an about 700 acre electric-only water reservoir. The water level fluctuates widely over a year; it will be up into the tree line a bit during wet springs. Although I have a 17' Bass Cat, I like to run a 14.5' square-stern Kevlar canoe with a Torqeedo cruise 2 on back in this lake. Fastest boat on the lake, 9+ mph electric only.
Although the boat is small, I've caught Tiger Musky, pure Musky (river) and tons of big landlocked Stripers up to 43" in it, plus hawg bass.
fishing such a small body of water made finding this possible.

I just checked it out to find my place. They must updates these sat images pretty regularly. We added a bigger deck on the back of the house last spring.
