I was wondering what area on eagle lake has the best muskie fishing. I'm not asking for a lodge(that means you...AML people) just want to know what area of the lake is best for muskie. Thanks.

any given day man ...

more depends on how good you are at solving the puzzle for the time period you are there and how you know, pick and work spots. lower densities of fish in the trout water im told so maybe rule that out (unless they are going LOL). other than that "best" ... not sure there is an answer for what you are asking.

how are you defining best?? most? biggest? easiest? ...

If you want bigger fish, the north side is where you want to go, chance of catching a
fish over 50 is better because of the deep water, but you will see a lot less fish. If you
want to catch more and see more fish go to the south side, we have been going to the south side (and north side) for the last 6 years and the south side has way more action. We fished the south side 1st week of July last year, caught 27 in a week (1 boat 3 guys), lost about 10 more and seen many more. 17 where 45" and over. We do not troll casting only.

Good Luck
