| Every time I look at all the unbelievable lures that are created on this site it inspires me to take a stab at painting some myself. The problem is that I have never done it before with an airbrush. My question is, if one were looking to get an airbrush kit for painting lures as a hobby only what would you guys recommend? Any links with your suggestions would be greatly appreciated! I must say that there are some truly fantastic artists on here and I really enjoy seeing your work, keep it up! The stuff you guys are painting should be in a display case not a tackle box. |

Location: Almost Heaven | Just get a good brush, I have an Iwata and it is a dual action brush. (paint and air are 2 stages) Get some paints such as createx for air brushes and start playing with old stuff. I and along with alot of others can not paint like the artists on here. My son is an artist and i never give him that talent. I do not paint for art but paint to put something in the water that might catch a Ski. It is also a fun hobby that you get satisfaction out of. I enjoy showing my wife my paint jobs because she "always" tells me they look great. Painting a bait is not what makes the bait show but the epoxy finish brings it to life. There are many types of epoxy and the posts on here speak about them. Devcon2 30 minute does not require you use a drying rack where others like Etex do. Have fun

| With practice this set up could do anything you see on these pages. The Paasche H is one of the oldest designs out there and has stood the test of time.
