| I didn't buy much this year. I was a little bummed out that Rollie and Helen's wasn't there. I was told by several people that there were the same number of vendors there this year as last (except Rollie and Helen's), but I was looking for Musky Customs, Crane Baits, and a guy that was there last year who made custom musky flies (if anyone happens to know who this gentleman is, please let me know, because I went to the show looking particularly for him) and I didn't see any of them.
The seminar room was really nice this year. Very spacious (I really liked the tables. You felt like you were at a vegas show). I guess the best take for me is not a physically item, but a two day trip to Lake St. Clair I booked for this fall. I will be counting down the days until then!

Location: Appleton | I have to admit I haven't bought a Bull Dawg in years but man they have some crazy amazing colors this year. With at least 2 more shows for me it might be hard to resist. |

John (Muskie Customs) couldn't make it this year. And the custom fly guy was me. I had some out for sale in the Stealth booth last year. I was in the Stealth booth again this year and had some flies with me, but didn't have any set out. If you stopped in the Stealth Leader booth, I was the fat guy slamming Monsters...I think I had five on Saturday. |

| I had a great time at the show. It was my first year attending the Ohio show, but will not be my last. I do not have any pictures, but I bought a few Red October Baits (great show colors!), a Smuttly Dog P-6, and a bunch of Lunge Lumber Lures (I mainly stocked up on 9" prowlers, but also picked up a couple 7.5" prowlers -- I am most excited to so how fast I will be able to work this during the summer months).

I was even in the Stealth Booth milling around for about 15 minutes on Friday. I wish I knew you were there, because I have a lot of questions when it comes to fly fishing for these creatures and was hoping to check out some of your flies. I am going to send you a PM, if you don't mind. |
