| What treble hook size -- 5/0, 6/0, 7/0, 8/0 etc -- do you prefer on your #10 and #12 bladed bucktails ?? Please note any reason for your preference --- thanksalot --- jim |

Location: Yahara River Chain | Big as you can get them. On bucktails larger hooks don't impede action/sound. On Cowgirls, I'm sure they use 7/0s. If you can get 8/0s use them on DC10s and DC12s. The larger gaps will aid in hook ups and I've seen it where they won't take them as deep as smaller hooks. |

Location: Almost Heaven | On my double bladed inlines i make, i put a 5/0 at the end and then i put a 3/0 up above the skirt. You can use larger depending on preference, but i go with 2 hooks even on my 7" baits. |

| 7's are Stock on DCG's. I do not repalce the hooks on them until I need to but if I do I use an 8/0. I have had Johnny Dadson make some customs for me (12's) and he sends them w/o hooks (shipping from Canada thing) and I put 8/0's on them. If I plan on making it a designated trolling with it I will put a 9/0 on the back |

Location: Hayward, WI | I've always used 7/0 3551's if I need to replace a hook on a double 10. Most hits seem to get hooked and make it to the net. I'd guess that 8/0 would work fine also.

Location: Madison, WI | i like 6/0 3551's on my double 10's. they are a touch lighter wire than the standard 7/0 hooks and seem like they "sting" or penetrate better than the larger thicker hooks. just cant horse the fish in as much. |

| I put Eagle Claw 5/0 trebles on the back of my bucktails. I have been doing this for the last 2 years and feel I have landed more of the fish that nip at the bait. |
