Location: Lake "y" cause lake"x" got over fished | Two word is all that is really needed to say about these baits...
BUY ONE!!! OR THREE!!!!
ok, four words.
i have caught a few very nice fish on the firetiger, and midnight sucker colors. The mags are great, especially in fall as Brad P stated. Also i own the mini zilla's and those are great as well. No musky on those yet,but have put some monster bass in the boat on the little ones. I like the Natural perch color and sexy shad. Great baits though, very durable |

| They catch fish. Very well made bait as well. All 3 sizes are functional as well as both the shallow and deep varieties. I really like the Mag size in the fall, very versatile. Waterwolf puts out some fantastic baits, IMO. |

| Just a clarification on the link and business name... It's always been Big Wood Musky Lures at: http://www.bigwoodmuskylures.com/
We are the exclusive US retailer for Waterwolf Lures who makes the line of Shadzilla's as well as some really nice tubes. We specialize in custom, hard to find and exclusive lures and currently have over 30 lines of baits that you won't find anywhere else in the country.
Regarding the Magnum Shadzilla, the production of these magnum lures is unfortunately on hold for the time being. Not because they aren't awesome or there wasn't crazy demand for them. But, during the labor intensive, hand dipped production process, many of the baits had to be discarded. Keeping up with the demand for Waterwolf Tubes, Shadzilla Jr.s and Original Shadzilla's has been hard enough, so it only made sense to halt production of the Magnums until a refined manufacturing process can be achieved.

I don't have these in my possession yet, but I believe the hollow plastic body is very similar in size and weight to the Original Shadzilla, so about 9 1/2" and about 4 oz plus the weight of the internal harness, split rings and hooks.
Also like the Original Shadzilla, replacement bodies will be available so once the fish chew it up, you can replace the plastic body without having to throw away the internal harness. You can effectively have a brand new bait at a fraction of the cost.
I hope to debut these baits for the first time at the WI Musky Expo in Wausau. if not, I should at least have them for the MN Muskie Expo in April.

| I'm sure you don't get much business from Arkansas. You guys have great baits and prices, awesome service and your shipping is fast. I love the free shirts too. Paul P on Vermilion referred me to you and I have been very satisfied. |

Location: North/Central WI | Shadzilla's turned out to be one of my best baits last year. I've also been very impressed with the service at Big Wood. Here's a big one from Wisco last fall on a 9.5" midnite sucker...

Location: Lake "y" cause lake"x" got over fished | Midnight sucker, Walleye, Natural perch, firetiger are my favortie colors for the reg sized ones. Sexy shad is the best for the Jr's IMO. But again, Ony caught bass one that.. But great 20"+ bass on the sexy shad color |

Location: Hayward, WI | How deep will the Shadzilla stay on a medium retrieve? If you count them down first do they hold their depth fairly easily or do they want to rise quickly?
Most guys doing a fairly steady retreive with these? I like the head shake and roll the videos show. Might need to try one or two this year.
Nice fish Nate! Looks windy.

They stay at their depth fopr the most part. but the most important thing to me is that they run true no matter how fast you can reel em in, they don't ever roll. I have also seen people troll at 5+ mph and they still stay true. |

| To echo Fat, you can burn the crap out of them casting. They have very little water resistance, plus at 4.5oz. they will not blow out very easily. You can also count them down. Very versatile lure. I fish them with speed over shallow sand and even milfoil when I have enough room over the top. You can also shift out to the deeper edge and run them slower to get down in the water column. All about counting down and retrieve cadence. |

Location: Hayward, WI | Good deal. About how deep would that be? Can you keep them down 6-8 feet or would you need to fish them painfully slow? What's reasonable to expect? 2-3 feet? 5-8? I'm looking at these thinking about deep weedlines and open water.
Too bad the magnums are on hold. Without seeing them I'm sure I would be interested in the regular but the Magnum. If many of their rejects are only visually imperfect maybe they would consider selling them at a reduced rate as 2nds? I'm sure there would be many reasons that might work and at least as many why it might not...

Location: North/Central WI | You can fish them deep no problem with a medium retrieve...give them a 10-15 count. I was fishing them 10'-20' down easily. A couple rips and pauses will help them maintain depth if you want to fish them faster. The shallow version works great later in the year when you want to slow down a little in shallower water. I was burning my shadzilla in when the big girl above hit...my bait hit a weed clump and I gave it a rip and it was game on... |

| For the original zilla's, the ones I had were pretty fast sinkers... Loved the action, but since I fish mostly shallow rivers they actually ran too deep for where I wanted to fish them mostly.
Anyway, just picked up one of the shallow version, and it seems like it should be exactly what i want for most of my spots. Psyched to spend some more time fishing it this year. Really glad they came out with the shallow!
Big Wood service is great also. Ordered from them many times, and never disappointed. |

| Well, dont know whether you have checked some online stores or not but you can find them at most of the outdoor stores. Cabelas has been one of my favorite and I love to use Cabelas coupon codes for my outdorr shopping. |

Location: Eastern Ontario | Sometimes the tip of the tail is a little thicker than I like and by taking a pair of sissors and trimming about an 1/8 inch of the thicker plastic at the end I get more tail action. I think this happens when the lure gets an extra or longer dip.
For any living in the northeast Mike will have his Shadzillas and all his other lures at the Muskie Odyssey in April St. Catherines Ontario |

Well, dont know whether you have checked some online stores or not but you can find them at most of the outdoor stores. Cabelas has been one of my favorite and I love to use Cabelas coupon codes for my outdorr shopping. You should atleast check it for your items and I dont think that there is any outdoor item you can not find at Cabelas. I have found all of my outdoor items with Cabelas promo codes here so that I can find all the things within my budget.
----------
I can safetly say, unless Cabelas has changed inventory in the last 6 months or so. These lures are not at Cabelas, In fact there is a ton of stuff not at Cabelas... Good store for a lot of things, but I would not put musky gear at the top of that list. |

| You can also fish the weighted ones shallow, you just need to fish them faster. They are a great speed bait, they run true and the weighted keel keeps them from blowing out. They also offer very little resistance, which makes it a lot less physically demanding to really bring the heat. Great alternative bait when speed is the trigger. |

I hope that is not the case, cause if it is, he really needs to learn what his stores stock.......... this is not one of the items |

A local guy/company here in Ontario actually makes the Shadzilla but yes Bigwood is the exclusive US retailer for Waterwolf lures. |

Sorry Chris, not going to make the Milwaukee show this year. Our only two shows will be the WI Musky Expo in Wausau and the MN Muskie Expo. |
