There's a cabin that's right near my folks place at Cave Run that their neighbor rents out that's called "Ernie's Place"
you can find it on this link : http://www.kylakes.com/caverun/caverun.htm

Cave Run Lodging,...Next to Crashes Landing.

Tony Grant's place,... Mountain musky lodge. This is where you will get "daily info" on the Muskie fishing.
They also have a fishing special with guided trips and lodging.

Last April I spent a week at Cave Run Lodging. The one bedrooms cabins aren't much. It looked like the larger 2 & 3 Br cabins were a lot newer and nicer.

Another place is the lake view motel right across from Scott's Creek Marina http://www.caverunlodging.com/ A few rooms with a nice tackle/bait shop downstairs.

I keep seeing that ad in Musky hunter for 2 anglers , 2 days guided , 3 nights lodging for 595 $ . If I was looking to go down in March I would definately check that out . Sounds like a great deal

3 nights free isnt bad at all . Plus it is a good size lake getting a guided package is a pretty good idea for that price if you havnt fished there before

If your planning on fishing sun up to down you can't beat Tony's Place to lay your head down. But if your looking for a little more comfort and privacy, I have a 4 bed room, 2 bath cabin that I rent on a very limited basis. Its located near Tony's (i.e. 2.5 miles from Long Bow Marina) on a very residential street with good permanent neighbors, which is off the main hwy, plenty of parking, safe and "evil quite" as the city people say. Out of the respect of my neighbors, I only accept responsible tenants that respect the privacy (i.e. refrain from fire works at midnight) Although no problem in kicking back with a few beers. I'm not a rental lord and love to fish the lake and take a shot at the PMTT each year. This place was obtained for my family and friends including new one I may meet who like to musky fish. Gonna be there the week of the PMTT so it will be available then also. PM me if interested.

Greg.
