Subject: Will a standard on-board charger work with Optima blue top?

Location: Madison, WI		looking to upgrade my current 2 bank charger to a three bank so my starting battery is included. I have a blue top optima for a starter and just wondering if that is a problem. Also any info about Promariner Promite chargers? or should i stick with Minn Kota.

I use a 4bank version of that one with blue tops and haven't had any problems.

You should check with the MFG first. some chargers will not charge those batteries.
