Location: Wis. Rapids, WI | Petenwell Musky Challenge
To all our sponsors, contestants, and staff:
I’m informing you with a heavy heart that after 16 wonderful years the Catch and Release Petenwell Musky Challenge will no longer continue. I’ve been debating about whether or not to continue the tournament to spend more time with my family; my daughters are growing up fast! With the crash of my hard drive, I lost ALL tournament files, making this decision a bit easier for me to make. The hard drive was worked on by a computer specialist, but he was unable to recover any records.
I cannot say enough good things about all of our sponsors…great people, companies and products or services. Thank you for supporting our tournament and this sport. I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again…without your support we couldn’t have done this without you. I’m very grateful that I had the opportunity to have worked with all of you.
To our contestants…without you we couldn’t have succeeded. Not too many tournaments out there have a waiting list each year. Your commitment and dedication over the past 16 years to this sport and this tournament made us successful. We have tons of great memories, and I appreciate our friendships. By all of us working together, we were the best tournament around.
ALL of us can be proud that we gave back to our sport. Our primary purpose was to stock muskies and we were able to stock 6,730 muskies into the Petenwell Flowage over the years.
Once again, I’d like to say “thank you.” Thank you for supporting the Petenwell Musky Challenge all these years.
Sincerely,
Todd Forcier
Tournament Director

Location: Janesville | Sorry to hear the bad news was the best run musky tournament that I ever fished. Now you can enjoy fishing with your daughters and watch them grow up. You are welcome to come up to lake tomahawk and fish and pontoon with us. |

| Did you try Gillware in Madison? I had a hard drive that was fried out and none of the local companies could figure it out. I sent it to them and I got a letter like a week later saying they could recover everything! Then about $300 later and another week I had a bunch of CD's with all of my data back! It was absolutely priceless.

Location: Oregon, WI | Know several people that have fished this tourney and they have always had good things to say about it and was wanting to do this in the near future. Too bad you weren't backing up your PC periodically, it may have been easier for someone else to step up and run the tournament. |

Location: c.wis | there are a few local clubs that will continue to stock the central wisconsin flowages, but they depend on donations, and fundraisers to do so. the work that todd did was second to none

| Man, sad to see it end. This was an incredible tournament to say the least. I think one major thing that will definitely be missed is the time and effort Todd put in to supporting the troops. Every year he made it a point to recognize the troops current/past and generate money for them with such things as Operation Muskie. That will definitely be missed. Anyway, I just wanted to say thanks to Todd and all his helpers for making this happen for so many years. Good times and great memories!
