| Who out there meet or beat any personal goals that they had set from last year.
For me I was lucky enough to have a guide client put a 4 footer in the boat. This was the largerst "client" fish in my boat. (way to go Rob![:)] )

| Hi All,
My only goal as long as I have been fishing is to have a good time. [:)]
So far, I have achieved all of my goals [:p]
| | |
| I wanted to be on the Goon for two weeks striaght, but with the work on Worrall's Hideout, the new job, and general 'just no time', that will be a future goal. | |
| | |
| I wanted to get out of Wisconsin, explore new water and catch a 4 footer. Did it. Did it. Did it.

| I met the 1 goal and failed in the other, I met the 50" plus category with a 53"er but didnt nail a 45lb + fish, but I was close to it with the 53" er, maybe if that was caught in the fall [:blackeye:] next year will have the same goals.

| I wanted to win the mens division in our chapter of Muskies Inc. also get the first year of my guide service off to a great start. Both of these goals were reached and far beyond. My guide service is going far beyond what I hoped for and looking at the numbers from the lunge log I won the mens division and would have taken the masters division also. I also wanted to catch a fish bigger than my previous record on my home lake(46 inches), did that also with a 48 1/2 incher. 5 clients caught their first legal muskie and 3 caught their personal best form by boat this season. Next season I would like to catch my first 50 incher out of my lake and maybe win the masters division for our chapter of Muskies Inc. As for my guide service, word of mouth and repeat clients will keep me going full steam ahead.[:)] [;)] [:p] | |

| Let's see I came close: 1. Wanted to get another 50 inch release to my credit, I got a 49 incher, 2. Wanted to get my dad a 45 inch plus fish only able to get him a 36 incher, 3. Wanted to catch 20 or more fish over 30 inches, came close with 19 and 4. finally I did catch bigger musky this year than my two main fishing partners out of my boat nana, (they put a hurting on me last year). Good Fishing, Al[] | |

| My goals changed dramatically as the year progressed, LOL. Initially, I wanted to have a good year, with a least as many fish as last year, with an average length higher than last year. I also wanted to fish a tournament. I wanted to get my daughter her first Ski, and get my boy at least 2. I also wanted to meet and fish with new people.
Somewhere around the first of July, I changed my numbers goal to just getting a fish in my new Esox Angler SS! I had caught several fish early, but none in my boat! Thanks to Jason "Skunkeraser" Smith, I finally got the smelly critter out on Aug 5th. I fished a tourney, the first day on the water with the new boat- Lost two fish that day with Landy! I did not get my daughter a fish, although she spent many hours with me trying. Never a complaint out of her, and we always had a great time! Eric did get two fish this year, both were his personal best.
So, overall, I had a great year, ended up, thanks to a great fall, with more in the boat than last year, with average length up, and fished with a lot of great guys, including LandyR, GregM, Jason, Shady, The Extreme One, Mark H., Mark S., DaveJ, Kly, Oneida Esox, and Krappie. Special thanks to M1, for helping provide Eric and I a great time on the Bone and Deer Lakes at the outing.

| I had three goals for my second season. My first goal was the catch 8 muskies (2x as many as last year) I ended up with two My second goal was to catch one over 45"...the biggest I got was 30" (both of them) As my dad started fishing with me more and more I was hoping to get him on a fish as well. Luckily that goal was met. On the last day on the lake on his first cast he caught a 42 incher. 1 out of 3 goals is better than 0 out of 3. My goals for next year are:
45 incher
10 muskies
put my brother on a muskie (if i can get him fishing)

| I made all my goals, except one: catch a 50"er. I had one on that bent the hook at boatside. Damnednogoodfornothing gamakatsu hooks![:blackeye:] | |

| I was proud of my success this year. I wanted to go over 20 fish again and remain in my chapters masters division. last year i had 24, this year i got 53. Not bad consdidering I live in Ky. I wanted 4 over 40", i got 12. 7 were 45" or better, with one going 50". I had 6 over 48" come aboard this year, 2 at 50"
My only regret was that I didnt have the opportunity to fish with some different and new people this year.
I will shoot for 20 fish again next year. It truly is hard to get that many fish, when you live in Ky, and is not a guide or local.

| I met most of my goals this year.
1)catch more than I did last year. yes, 28, only caught 7 last year.
2) Get my kids catching more fish, yes, plenty of pike and smallies. Oldest had a musky hit him boatside, middle son caught his first and lost another, youngest son lost a nice fish.
3) Put my mom on some fish, yes two of them.
4) More fish for my dad, yes 26 of them vs 9 last year.
5) Catch some really big fish, no, my biggest was 40" and 45" for my dad. Seen a few though.

| My only fishing goal this year was to help my 8 year old catch a musky.
He did....36" hybrid, 43" true, and a 48" true Indiana muskie. It was an awesome year. Colton even outfished his brother Weston for big fish....LOL

| One of my goals was to boat 30 muskies for the year, previous best year being 14. My goal was too low. I caught 77 for the year, crushing my expectations and goals. This was also my first year with a boat, so I set the bar pretty high for next year.
My other big goal was to boat my first 50". I came close, but it didn't happen. I caught fish of 49.5. 49.5, 49, and 48.75. With my success of this year, I'm pretty confident that next year will be the year.
