Location: Northern Illinois | Wondering where you guys buy your materials for tying your own leaders? I'm looking to make Fluorocarbon leaders and want to know what you guys have had success with as far as specific items you are using. Is there a website you use as well that shows you in step on the process?

| What lb test do you use? Local Bass Pro sells 100# Fluorocarbon precut 4' leaders. Is that heavy enough? |

| I don't go under 130lbs Test. Many do and have had zero issues with anything under but I figure why risk it. |

Location: Waconia, MN | I order my leader supplies off of Rollie and Helen's but there are plenty of sites that sell the same components. I would buy the more expensive, bigger, size 5 ball bearing swivels and also the size 6 or size 9 cross lock snaps.
Also, you have at least 2 options for attaching the hardware, you can use the sleeves like most store bought leaders have, or, you can get a tying tool and knot the line on each end. I myself have never trusted the sleeves with the fluorocarbon leaders I make myself. |

| I use 130 pound seaguar fluoro and stay lok snaps with ball bearing swivels |
