Two issues

What needs to be changed on a trolling motor if possible to go from 24 to 36 volts? Motor windings? Feed wiring? Components?

Can a 36 volt motor be run on 24 volts and if so what is the resulting output? 2/3 since the power is now 2/3?

I have a new 36 volt motor and wondering if I can run it 24?

Motor windings are the big difference.

You should not run a 36 volt motor on 24 volts. It'll draw too much current, have less power, and will eventually be damaged. It will also void your warranty. I'd advise against it.
