Hey guys, anyone know which version lakemaster chip I need to run in this unit? I just picked one up pretty cheap for the bow.

Thanks!

I want to say 2011 was the last year you could get the LakeMaster chip for the older Lowrance units. I have LCX 37 and LCX 112c and I swear they say 2011 on them. So anything older then 2011 will work, but you can always double check on the LakeMaster webiste, or any retail outlet as well.

Be careful with the newer chips in that unit. The processor in that unit can only handle so much info. I think you would be best off with chips a few years old.

i use the same unit as well. the card can not exceed 1gb of data or the unit will not read it. its got a few years but still works well. you can make your own maps also. i happen to find the older chips for them at cabelas in the bargin cave or ebay.
