| What musky fishing options are there over the holiday season? I have almost two weeks off starting in another week or so. I’m thinking of heading south, but I’m not sure what my best options are. Thank you for any help.

| Mike: you can always stay near home and paint my house[]
or finish the basement[]

| I would call Tony Grant at 800-452-1600, or check out www.kymuskie.com.
I am sure Tony can hook you up with a place to stay as well as a guide if you need one.
I may be down there as well, so maybe we'll see each other.

| Read Fred McClintock's Dale Hollow (Tennessee) reports....sounds like he's got a nice pattern going. I believe his website is http://www.dalehollowmuskies.com

| With the warmer weather and rain predicted, you may be able to fish most if not all of Shelbyville. |

| Talked to Tony today, he has a place to say as well as guides. Scott is a awesome guide he could show you the current spots if you are looking for fishing by yourself.
Dale Hollow puts out very FEW fish per year.

| Thanks guys. Those are the three I had in mind. I’ll trust Mike’s advice and narrow it down between the Cave and Shelby – I don’t have nearly enough rod holders anyway. I’ve never tired to pull this one with my wife before, it’s going to be an expensive Christmas. I wonder how’d she like - honey, I won’t be here when your family comes down – I’m going fishing.
Diamonds… that’s the ticket

| A buddy of mine just fished Shelby, water temps 33 degrees. 2 guys fished for 3 days. No fish caught or even seen. Tough fishing. The cave has warmer water and fish are being caught and seen daily.
